John G. Spranger, PA-C - Physician Assistant

John Spranger is a Physician Assistant at the Colorado Comprehensive Spine Institute (CCSI). He works closely with CCSI's spine surgeons in the clinic, hospital, and assisting in the operating room.

John earned his Physician Assistant and Master's Degree with specialization in Neurosurgery at the University of Wisconsin Medical School in Madison, WI. He began his career at the Mayo Clinic where he was privileged to work alongside world renowned surgeons.

John's neurosurgical experience and comprehensive approach is an advantage to treating spinal conditions and evaluating the cervical spine, and vascular and neoplastic (tumor) spinal disorders. He is pleased to be part of CCSI's comprehensive center with specialists who collaborate to provide patients the best in spine care.

Originally from Wittenberg, WI, John enjoys spending time in the mountains with wife Erin and their two dogs. He is a triathlete and, with his wife, has completed two Ironman Triathlons. John also enjoys hiking, skiing, camping, and motor sports.
