Jon Clapp is a physiatrist with a special interest in treating patients with acute and chronic neck and low back pain. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Chicago's Rush University Medical Center. The focus of Dr. Clapp's training has been on pain management, sports medicine, electro diagnostics and interventional spine procedures. Dr. Clapp received his medical degree at Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago, Illinois and a Master's degree in physiology and biophysics from Georgetown University in Washington D.C. Jon believes firmly in a comprehensive approach to treating patients and will provide an additional component to this comprehensive medical team. |
Dr. Clapp’s approach for treating people suffering with acute & chronic pain is to maximize their function and quality of life. He feels this is done through any combination of education, medications, injections, Integrative Medicine (nutrition, herbal supplements, etc.), exercise therapy and overall wellness.
Dr. Clapp and his wife are thrilled to be living in Denver. The Colorado lifestyle allows them both to enjoy the outdoor lifestyle that provides for an excellent quality of life. Dr. Clapp is also involved in volunteer and outreach programs that benefit the needs of our community.
