Timothy R. Kuklo, MD is a board certified Orthopaedic Surgeon and fellowship trained spine surgeon specializing in diverse spinal conditions of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine.
Dr. Kuklo has extensive experience over the past 10 years in both complex spine problems and minimally invasive spine surgery – making it possible to use less invasive approaches to complex problems when appropriate.
Dr. Kuklo is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, and a retired Colonel, U.S. Army. He received his medical degree from the University of Connecticut, and completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery from Walter Reed Army Medical Center where he later served as Chief of Spine Surgery. Fellowship training in spine surgery was completed at Washington University in St. Louis, where he recently worked for several years before moving to Colorado. Dr. Kuklo also has a law degree from Georgetown University, graduating in 1995.
Since 2000, Dr. Kuklo has served in various academic positions and authored over 150 manuscripts and chapters. He has also lectured extensively on treatment options for various spinal conditions, served on numerous committees and has been awarded multiple teaching and research awards.
